Glazing Man

about

The Super 8 was an adrenaline-fused collection of eight songs, most of them written spontaneously and with passion and fury. It took two weeks to create the eight songs and only 3 hours to record, yet it still remains as one of the greatest RockLords albums.

When Mark, Kezza and Bobby hit the practice venue, they had just been told that they had two weeks to prepare for an upcoming event but certain options had been closed to them. In a fit of anger, they attacked their instruments and this track just happened. Five minutes later, they realised what they had just done and repeated the song over and over in an effort to learn it. It was given the name 'The Glazing Man' in tribute to a glazier that worked in Hawera who had the biggest, coolest afro the band had even seen.
