about

This is an improvised track from the 2nd of January, 2011 session held at Kurt's Shed in Hawera. Mark was back from England and the band utilised the time by organising a Gypsys jam session which would become their 11th non-gig album, The 1st XI.

Mark began this track by hamming out a ascending riff then bringing it back down. One by one, we all responded in kind and a seven-beat monster grew. Bob's drumming is quite spectacular on this track and Mark's blending in of a Latin flavour into the chaos was inspired.
