about

This songs started as a riff that I had floating around in my collection of songs. I had an idea of what I wanted to do with it, but nothing anywhere concrete so it was easily adapted into the album concept - it could almost be regarded as the "truest" song of WWB, not having had any real form prior to it.

Bob's drum beat really sets the song off. As soon as I heard his drum tracks (them being the first piece recorded for the album), I wanted to record the riff. It all happened so easily and quickly - I get goosebumps every time I hear the opening verse of this song!

lyrics

The gentle push reciprocate
Searching through fragments of supposed nothing
We can’t just wait around for it
Edging ever closer to a tall tower desired

Let the promise of it guide you
Racing further – speed is danger
Find the Tower, find the haven

You have found the home, at last
I am ever searching valleys imagined

Clouds form upon the horizon
There’s no more that’s left to be found
Find the Tower – there’s no more else

Drawing closer to the target
Life is drawn into a tempest
All will change
All will change…
