In 2001 I wrote a song called "Ninja Styles" based on a friendship I had developed during that time. Great music, weird lyrics, but it never really leapt of the page. When WWB came about, it was an easy transfer into the album's concept.

When I sent the demo tracks to Bob for him to put the drums on, this song proved the most difficult as I managed to mess up the click-track timings. The wafty, acoustic nature of the song had it speeding up and slowing down all over the place. Bob did his best with the track, but I decided to make the first half solely acoustic bringing in Bob in the power part. The first acoustic solo after Bob joins in is actually from the original demo and was the first thing I recorded in the project that made the whole album stand up. If it wasn't for that solo, I might not have taken the album project seriously!
