In late 1998, Cynosure had just effectively broken up and the three remaining members, myself, Mark and Bob, wrote an angry set of songs that were totally improvised and pure awesome. This track was one of the last to be written in that energetic session and is called Kristy firstly because Bob was asked to start the song - so he played a blistering 7-beat in an effort to throw us - and then when asked to name the song, he couldn't think of anything so we named it for him after his future wife, the lovely Kristy.
