In late 1998, Cynosure had just effectively broken up and the three remaining members, myself, Mark and Bob, wrote an angry set of songs that were totally improvised and pure awesome. The second song from that furious session was this, called New Jack by Mark because it somehow reminded him of the movie 'New Jack City'. This song has so much power live, it is almost hard to survive.
