Rift Between Bliss and Terror

from Zodiac by Gypsys

/

about

This is an improvised track from the 4th of January, 2014 session held at Bob's Back Shed in Hawera. Mark was back from England and the band utilised the time by organising a Gypsys jam session which would become their 12th non-gig album, Zodiac.

This riff came from Richie's repertoire and when combined with Gypsy might, it became the perfect opener for the latest Gypsys album. The title, coined by Oli Simpson, refers to the blistering rock/metal riff led by Richard.
