The Blues Song

During the 1990 Hawera High School drama production, Simon Perry and myself wrote this mock-blues song to share with the cast and crew, the song becoming a local classic. The next year, when we formed the short-lived Big Bad Sad Boys, we resurrected this song, giving it structure and fleshing out the lyrics into a rounded story. The Gypsys later picked it up and it was then used by the band Jamshed in their 1996 recording.
